Dr. Amelia Deitchman, PharmD, PhD is currently an Assistant Professor and co-Director of the Drug Research Unit at the University of California San Francisco (UCSF) School of Pharmacy. She earned her PharmD and PhD from the University of Florida before completing a T32 Fellowship in Clinical Pharmacology at UCSF before joining faculty in 2020. Her research program focuses on pharmacokinetics and pharmacodynamics at the intersection of immunology and virology, specifically focused on HIV cure, and more recently long COVID. Dr. Deitchman serves as clinical pharmacologist on several UCSF and AIDS Clinical Trials Groups studies, including for the ACTG Cure Transformative Science group, has served on the Interventions Task Force for the NIH's RECOVER Corsortium for Long COVID, and is past Vice-Chair of the ASCPT Infectious Disease Community.
