Tomoyuki Mizuno, PhD is currently an Associate Professor of Pediatrics in the Division of Translational and Clinical Pharmacology at Cincinnati Children’s Hospital Medical Center (CCHMC), and the University of Cincinnati, College of Medicine. Dr. Mizuno also serves as the Director of the Pharmacometrics Center of Excellence and Clinical Pharmacokinetics Consultation Service. His research has focused on applying pharmacometrics, pharmacogenetics, and systems pharmacology modeling and simulation approaches to develop and implement model-informed precision dosing (MIPD) strategies in adult and pediatric patients. He also leads the Pharmacometrics Center of Excellence, which provides strategic clinical pharmacology and pediatric model-informed drug development (MIDD) consulting to support academic investigators and bio-pharmaceutical industries seeking expertise to determine the optimal clinical trial design and conduct pharmacometrics analysis. Dr. Mizuno received his Ph.D. in Medicine from Kyoto University. He received the 2021 Victor Armstrong Young Investigator Award from the International Association of Therapeutic Drug Monitoring and Clinical Toxicology (IATDMCT). He also received the Young Scientist Award, the Commendation for Science and Technology from the Japanese Minister of Education, Culture, Sports, Science and Technology (MEXT) in 2023. He has been a member of ASCPT since 2011 and currently serves as a Vice Chair of the Precision Dosing Community.
