Assistant Professor of Clinical Pharmacometrics, Pharmacist

Iris Minichmayr is an Assistant Professor at the Medical University of Vienna/Austria (Department of Clinical Pharmacology). She is a licensed pharmacist and earned her PhD in pharmacometrics from the Freie Universitaet in Berlin/Germany (Department of Clinical Pharmacy). Iris has four years of experience as a researcher at the Uppsala Pharmacometrics research group in Uppsala/Sweden, and has completed various international hospital-based and academic research visits in Europe, Chile, and Australia.
Her research primarily focuses on pharmacokinetic/pharmacodynamic modeling of antimicrobials - particularly in special patient populations like critically ill patients, translational predictions of antibiotic effects, and model-informed precision dosing. Iris has served as Editor-in-training for CPT and is now holding a position on the Editorial Board of CPT. She is a founding member of the Precision Dosing Community within ASCPT and currently part of the first ASCPT Leadership Accelerator cohort.
