Medical College of Wisconsin
Dr. John McCorvy is an assistant professor at the Medical College of Wisconsin. Dr. McCorvy's lab is a leader in G protein-coupled receptor (GPCR) biased signaling and serotonin GPCR structure-function. He and his lab have published seminal works on structural mechanisms of serotonin GPCR biased signaling, aminergic GPCR polypharmacology, and psychedelic versus non-psychedelic mechanisms of receptor activation. His lab develops new tool compounds to interrogate GPCR function, which ultimately lead to new pharmacological profiles that can be used for future drug discovery approaches.
