Dr. Hansen Wong, PhD, is currently a Scientific Associate Director in the Department of Clinical Pharmacology Modeling and Simulation at Amgen, based in South San Francisco, CA. He has over 15 years of clinical pharmacology and drug metabolism and pharmacokinetics (DMPK) experience for both small molecules and therapeutic proteins across multiple therapeutic areas including oncology, cardiovascular, inflammation, and metabolic diseases. His current areas of focus are design and execution of clinical pharmacology, modeling and simulation strategy and clinical pharmacology studies and dose selection and optimization towards the clinical development of therapeutic agents. He earned his PhD in Medicinal Chemistry from the University of Minnesota, Twin Cities and then completed a postdoctoral fellowship in the Department of Biochemistry at Vanderbilt University. He has been a member of ASCPT since 2015.
