Natsumi Matsumoto, PhD, is currently an Associate Professor at Showa University School of Pharmacy with appointments in the Departments of Cancer Genome and Pharmacotherapy in Tokyo, Japan. She earned her PhD from Showa University. Prior to her PhD, she worked as a pharmacist in the chemotherapy center of the university hospital. She currently studies reverse translational research in cancer chemotherapy, utilizing clinical pharmacology, including pharmacokinetics and pharmacodynamics, and genomic pharmacology, aiming to establish personalized medicine based on scientific evidence.
