Clinical Pharmacology Fellow
Indiana University
Gerald So, PharmD, is a T32 postdoctoral fellow in the Division of Clinical Pharmacology at Indiana University School of Medicine. He earned his PharmD from Purdue University and discovered his interest for research and clinical pharmacology through a clinical rotation. He currently conducts a Phase 1 clinical trial aiming to characterize the pharmacokinetic and pharmacodynamic interactions between cannabidiol and tacrolimus. A work underway is a physiologically-based pharmacokinetic (PBPK) model that predicts the drug-drug interaction between cannabidiol and tacrolimus in transplant recipients across different stages of chronic kidney disease. He is looking forward to supporting new drug development in the industry as a clinical pharmacologist for the next chapter of his.
