Joseph P. Burnett, Ph.D., is an Associate Director of Clinical Pharmacology at Bristol Myers Squibb. At BMS his role focuses on small molecule drug development across all phases of clinical development for hematological malignancies. Dr. Burnett received his bachelors degree in Pharmaceutical Chemistry from Michigan Technological University and his M.S./Ph.D. in Pharmaceutical Sciences from the University of Michigan. Prior to his time at BMS, he gained research experience in organic synthesis, nanoparticle formulation, HTS, preclinical efficacy studies, preclinical target identification and characterization, and studied intratumoral heterogeneity in solid tumors.
