Pavel Balazki, senior scientist and lead of software toolchain at esqLABS GmbH, Germany, is an experienced scientist in the field of physiologically-based (PB) pharmacokinetics (PK) and quantitative systems pharmacology (QSP) and a passionate software developer.
Pavel Balazki studied bioinformatics at the Goethe University in Frankfurt, Germany, and completed his master’s thesis at Sanofi, where he was working on mechanistic modeling of diabetes. He then joined the Systems Pharmacology group at Bayer AG, Germany, to work on his PhD thesis in collaboration with Professor Thorsten Lehr from the Clinical Pharmacy department of the University of Saarland. At esqLABS, his work focuses on developing PBPK and PB-QSP models and software tools and workflows for efficient modeling and simulation work.
