Jordan Wilk is a senior-year undergraduate student at the University of Central Florida pursuing a bachelor's degree in Mathematics. His research interests include topics involving biostatistics, biomathematics, and epidemiology, such as the modeling of public health and medical data and the incorporation of ML/AI tools to assist with analysis. His current research is with the University of Florida College of Pharmacy, focused on clinical trial simulation tools for rare diseases. Other ongoing research is focused towards the development of highly-optimized phylogenetic comparative methods, and his prior research includes investigating differences in self-reported mental health data amongst various socioeconomic groups.
